Sensors in Arduino

These sensors are used in Ariduino. I must know how they works before I create my virtual entity/organism.

1. Alcohol Gas Sensor;

2. Infrared Proximity Sensor;

3. Photocell : light;

4. Temperature Sensor;

5. Phototransistor:to detect the reflected infrared signal;

6. Piezo Vibration Sensor:for detecting vibration and ‘tap’ inputs   from a user;

7. PIR Motion Sensor: movement;

8. RFID Reader;

9. Thermistor:a negative temperature coefficient;

10.Triple Axis Accelerometer sensors;

11.Arduino Wii Nunchuck.
